Good one Mitz what u should buy at super market is butter, bread, flour, milk then have a little picnic on the way out. Sorry I am a diabetic. You are right Ronnie; my mother did all her own shopping at the farm. We all have to get back to basics. Get a starting point. Go to super market once a week and u are right Mitz don’t go hungry.

Thanks for your tips. Very clever ideas. I need to study these when I have a bit of time. I didnt realise we had our own little homemaker in the family. I bet our grandmother lived like this all the time with that huge family. Dont know how they managed really. Our generation has been very spoiled, but I think its going to get a hell of a lot worse before it gets better. Just hope we dont see a depression, rather than a bad recession. These stimulus packages etc are great, but currently Obama is probably bankrupting the next couple of generations in the US, and Aus is fast heading into a big defecit. It is a very deep problem. xx Ronnie
